From Nerf's official YouTube channel, comes the video that I've been waiting for, the Hailfire preview. Personally, I'm looking forward to it, but I'm a bit steamed about the whole '4 clips only, buy more' aspect of it. But my main point of interest is: How the heck is it gonna fit in a box? It'll have to be one, VERY fat box :P What do you think? Leave a comment below.
[Alex] Although I agree it is a pain it only comes with four small 6-dart clips to start with, they are apparently going to have a separate Upgrade Kit to get more 6-dart clips. Good and bad because yes it's nice to finally buy more clips and darts in bulk, but bad since it ends up costing extra rather than getting it in one box.
ReplyDelete(Then again, I'd rather pay smaller amounts over a period of time rather than one great big whopping price tag in one go...)
However if you're anything like us, you'd probably have dozens of clips, including the Stampede and Rayven clips for maximum ammo capacity anyway :P
I wouldn't be surprised if the product box is smaller than a Vulcan box; most accounts seem to indicate the Hailfire is smaller than expected. But yes, the big ammo carousel and the trigger grip would make an interesting box dimension to say the least... unless parts like the handle / carousel split off and attach separately? :S
